A musical tour of seventeenth-eighteenth century Europe. The composers presented here were not only born at opposite ends of the Old Continent, but were familiar with one another’s homelands after their journeying in the flesh, in research, or at any rate in the spirit. The Christmas theme is the Leitmotif which unifies all the milestones of this fantastic music voyage.
