On December the 2nd, 2008 at 7.00 p.m. in the splendid setting of Palazzo Cicogna in Milan - home of the prestigious Salamon Art Gallery, in San Damiano, 2 – the music of the classical guitar by Giulio Tampalini will exceptionally meet the artistic works by Marzio Tamer, one of the most representative Artists of Italian contemporary figurative painting.
We may talk about an ideal curtain of sound poetry that will introduce the opening of this exhibition. The concert by Giulio Tampalini, one of the best talents of the new school of guitar in Italy, will start and conclude with the famous theme of Follia di Spagna: theme and variations. Moreover the artist is going to perform, besides the two "Follie", the Capricho Arabe of Francisco Tàrrega, the Fandango of Joaquim Rodrigo and Interview with Andrés Segovia of Gilardino. Right after the concert, Marzio Tamer is going to present 15 new paintings, the result of two years of work.
Tamer's images are already used by the label Concerto for creating beautiful covers of CDs devoted to the twentieth century of Italian music.
