Silvia Chiesa

Silvia Chiesa is an Italian cellist from the school of Antonio Janigro, who after a successful debut at the Barbican Hall in London with Beethoven‘s Triplo Concerto, was invited to join the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra again in a prestigious American tour where she performed as a soloist in Saint Saens’ first concert.
The critics enthusiastically received her unique performance:

Cellist in the Trio Italiano until 2002, she has played with important musical Italian and international institutions and has recorded for the recording house ARTS the trio’s of Franz Schubert and recorded live the complete trio’s of Beethoven for Rai Sat Show.
Particularly sensitive to contemporary music, she was chosen to play the first performances of Maestros Nicola Campogrande, Aldo Clementi, Azio Corghi, Matteo D’Amico, Michele Dall’Ongaro, Maxwell Davies and Giovanni Sollima.
