He studied Piano Composition and Electronic Composition at the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Milan, where he graduated cum laude with the highest grades. Among those who taught him are: N. Castiglioni, F. Donatoni, L. Berio, P. Molino, R. Sinigaglia. He has won many national and international prizes; his compositions have been performed around the world by the best performers. He has recorded CDs.
He is very active in the music industry as well, and has held many positions of responsibility in institutions, concert series, magazines, foundations and recording companies.
To cite only a few of his many accomplishments: in 2001, he presented one of his unpublished works, Una nuova luce, in Sala Nervi in the presence of Giovanni Paolo II; since 2007 he has been responsible as artistic director for many of the productions of Amadeus magazine; Enrico Bronzi performed one of his unpublished compositions for violoncello solo, Frame IV, at the Festival of Portogruaro.
Founder of the Ensemble of Contemporary Music, he put together a very high level studio specialized in classical music, the Bartòk Studio, where many Italian and foreign labels record and he has been the sound and artistic director for them.
