GINEVRA COSTANTINI NEGRI 18 years old, pupil of Daniela Ghigino and Anna Abbate, has participated in 9 international competitions, always among the winners. At the age of 10, she performed for Lang Lang for the press and opened the winners’ recital of an American competition at the Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2013, she received a special mention at the Sony Classical Talent Scout and her performances have been broadcast on Radio Classica and Radio Popolare. She attended Rolf Plagge’s masterclasses, held at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and she was invited by the Serate Musicali to play at the presentation of Martha Argerich’s biography in Milano. She played also with Andrea Bacchetti for Musica Meravigliosa festival. She has also performed in France, USA, Austria, Switzerland and Malta, where she held a concert with the violinist Indro Borreani for the President of the Republic. She has performed in several prestigious places such as Pinacoteca di Brera, Triennale Design Museum, Palazzo Ducale in Mantova, Palazzo Pitti, where, in 2017, she inaugurated a triennial festival organized by the association Musica con le Ali. She played also for events, festivals and associations of great traditions such as the Serate Musicali and the Amici del Loggione del Teatro alla Scala.
In 2017, she played the glockenspiel at the Teatro alla Scala for the concert of the Coro Voci Bianche dell’Accademia del Teatro conducted by Bruno Casoni, a choir she is a member of and with whom she has taken part in several productions and concerts, including the Symphony No. 3 by Mahler first with the Wiener Philharmoniker conducted by Mariss Jansons and then with the Filarmonica della Scala conducted by Riccardo Chailly, as well as Mefistofele by Boito conducted by Riccardo Muti. In 2017, she was selected by the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala to play the role of one of the Knaben in Die Zauberflöte in the Aslico winners’ tour. She was chosen as testimonial for the 2018 edition of Piano City Milano.
She records for Concerto Classics, with which she has scheduled a complete recording of the Six Sonatas Op. 1 by Luigi Cherubini for 2019.
